Three Ways to Make a Difference:
The Brescia Education Fund provides the University with the resources necessary each year to quickly and nimbly navigate emerging needs and challenges as they arise, while also continuing to provide extraordinary opportunities for learning and discovery. This fund provides otherwise unfunded discounts or scholarships to students in need, allows the University to provide expert faculty and educational resources for students, and enhances in and out of the classroom experiences.
The Disaster Relief Fund was established after Brescia suffered significant, campus-wide damage from recent storms. Golf ball sized hail damaged the siding, windows and roofs of almost every building and exterior and windshields of all university cars and buses. The greenhouse atop the Science Center was demolished and the north wing roof of the Moore Center was severely damaged, resulting in rain leaking in and flooding both floors. The University is facing $1 million in deductibles to begin repairing and restoring impacted buildings on campus.
