Speech-language pathologists are health care professionals who evaluate and treat problems related to speech sound production, comprehension and production of language, cognition, voice, stuttering, swallowing, and hearing for individuals across the lifespan that result from various etiologies.
This prerequisites sequence is designed to fulfill the prerequisites for Brescia University’s M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology which requires Communication Sciences and Disorders courses in Phonetics, Speech and Hearing Science, Audiology, Language Development, Anatomy and Physiology, Neuroanatomy or Neurology, and an introductory course or additional relevant course. M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology applicants also need four non-CSD courses including statistics, biology, chemistry or physics, and a social sciences and behavioral sciences course.
