Financing your education can be a difficult task. Only Permanent Residents or citizens of the United States are eligible for need-based federal aid. Most international students are self-funded, receive assistance from family or community members, and/or seek out external scholarships.
Students are encouraged to contact their nearest Overseas Education Advising Center or the U.S. Embassy/Consulate in their country to explore funding sources available to them. These centers have updated information about financial assistance and can assist with the application process.
