When you enroll in the 2019 MSW cohort, you’ll pay only $600 per credit hour. Brescia’s commitment to affordability means you’ll also receive reimbursement up to $230 when you pass your ASWB social work licensing examination within 3 years of graduating.
Complete your online MSW program in less than two years. If you take the full-time Advanced Standing program, you’ll do it in nine months.
To ensure you’re well-prepared to enter professional practice, you’ll complete 900 hours of field work. If you take the Advanced Standing full-time program or part-time program, you will complete 500 hours of field work.
Brescia requires weekly, evening, synchronous chats for all courses, giving you the opportunity to experience virtual, real-time, face-to-face contact with your professors and classmates. Small class sizes also mean you’ll get the personalized attention you deserve.
Advanced Standing Part-Time Students
Individuals working full time and balancing family responsibilities can now complete the online Master of Social Work program. With a maximum of nine credit hours per semester, the part-time MSW program does not require students to complete practicum hours until their second year. Part-time students will receive the same flexible course options offered to full-time students, plus access to our interactive online classroom.
Social Work is a profession concerned with the prevention and remediation of social problems. Professional social workers are in high demand. People who are best suited for social work are committed to providing compassionate service, being respectful of the dignity and worth of all people, advocating for social justice, understanding the importance of human relationships, having integrity, and using evidence-based interventions.
The Master’s degree in Social Work prepares advanced generalist social workers with the specialized skills to do therapy, address more complex problems, use evidence-based practice interventions, engage in scientific inquiry, and take leadership roles within their work environments and on behalf of the profession. Our MSW program teaches the advanced skills needed by social workers across the country.
