1. Demonstrate ethical behavior and integrity in medical practice.

• Essentials of PA Practice Ethics & Integrity Exam

Benchmark: ≥ 90% of students will score ≥ 79.50% on first attempt of the exam

• Preceptor Evaluations

Benchmark: ≥ 90% of students will score an average of 4/5 or higher on the Professional Behaviors section across all clinical rotations

• Summative Professionalism Evaluation

Benchmark: ≥ 90% of students are “Competent” in all sections

2. Support effective and sensitive communication skills with patients and members of the healthcare team.

• Medical History & Physical Examination Patient Education Practical Remediations

Benchmark: ≤ 10% of students will require remediation

• Comprehensive OSCE Remediations

Benchmark: ≤ 10% of students will require remediation on the Interpersonal and Communication Skills section

3. Perform a complete physical exam and organize, integrate, interpret and present clinical data in a clear, concise manner.

4. Integrate diagnostic assessment skills with knowledge of patient presentation and pharmacology to formulate appropriate treatment plans.
