This five-week rotation offers students practical clinical experience in pediatrics. Throughout this rotation, students will actively participate in all aspects of patient care, including history-taking, performing comprehensive physical examinations, and designing and evaluating treatment plans. The course places a strong emphasis on the integration of patient and family education related to treatment and preventive measures. Students will develop the skills necessary to effectively communicate important health information, ensuring that both patients and their families are informed and engaged in the care process. Through this immersive experience, students will gain essential skills and knowledge that will prepare them for their future role as a pediatric medicine PA.
