PA 673: Emergency Medicine – Clinical Rotation

This five-week rotation provides students with hands-on clinical experience in emergency medicine. During this rotation, students will actively engage in all facets of patient care, including history-taking, conducting comprehensive physical examinations, and designing and evaluating treatment plans. A key focus of the course is the integration of patient and family education into treatment and preventive measures. Students will learn to effectively communicate vital health information, ensuring that patients and their families are informed and engaged in their care processes. Through this immersive experience, students will develop the essential skills and knowledge needed to thrive in fast-paced emergency settings, preparing them for their future role as an emergency medicine PA.
