PA 671: Internal Medicine – Clinical Rotation

This five-week rotation provides students with practical clinical experience in internal medicine. During this rotation, students will actively participate in all aspects of patient care, including history-taking, conducting physical examinations, developing treatment plans, and evaluating patient progress. A key focus of the course is the application of patient and family education in relation to treatment and preventive measures. Students will learn to effectively communicate important health information, fostering a collaborative approach that enhances patient understanding and engagement in their care. Through this immersive experience, students will develop essential skills and knowledge required for their future role as an internal medicine PA.
