PA 670: Family Medicine – Clinical Rotation

This five-week rotation offers students valuable clinical experience in family medicine. Throughout the rotation, students will actively participate in all facets of patient care, including history-taking, conducting physical examinations, designing treatment plans, and evaluating patient outcomes. The course places a strong emphasis on the application of patient and family education as it relates to treatment and preventive measures. Students will develop the skills necessary to effectively communicate health information, fostering a collaborative approach to patient care that enhances overall health outcomes. Through this immersive experience, students will gain hands-on knowledge and practical skills essential for their future role as a family medicine PA.
