In this course, students will expand upon the knowledge and skills acquired in previous Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapeutics courses. Through a combination of lectures and active learning exercises, students will develop the pharmacologic and therapeutic knowledge essential for clinical practice. This semester’s topics will concentrate on the key areas of endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, infectious disease, hematology/oncology, rheumatology, and orthopedics. This course aims to enhance students’ ability to provide quality patient care through informed pharmacological decision-making. As a longitudinal course, it runs concurrently with the system courses through the didactic phase of the program.
