This course is a continuation of the Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapeutics series, utilizing a combination of lectures and active learning exercises to further develop the pharmacologic and therapeutic skills necessary to effectively enhance patient care in clinical settings. This semester will focus on Head, Eyes, Ears, Nose, and Throat (HEENT), pulmonary, cardiac, and renal diseases. Additionally, the course will cover antibiotic coverage for specific illnesses, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of pharmacological approaches to patient management. As a longitudinal course, it runs concurrently with the system courses through the didactic phase of the program.
