This course expands on the diseases covered in previous Clinical Medicine courses, delving into the key areas of psychiatry, women’s and men’s health, including urinary and reproductive concepts, pediatrics, geriatrics, and complementary/alternative medicine. Disorders will be examined systematically by specialty, providing a comprehensive understanding of their clinical manifestations. The course will also incorporate discussions on clinical therapeutics relevant to each area, ensuring students are equipped with the knowledge necessary to effectively manage patient conditions. Through this integrated approach, students will enhance their understanding of the complexities of health and disease, preparing them for effective clinical decision-making. As a longitudinal course, it runs concurrently with the system courses through the didactic phase of the program.
