This course provides a comprehensive understanding of human physiology through integrating with the Human Anatomy course. Students will explore homeostatic control systems and the functions of individual organs and organ systems, as well as their interactions within the whole organism. The curriculum will also combine human physiology and pathophysiology, focusing on dermatology and genetics, with a particular emphasis on underlying etiologies of disease. Throughout the course, students will examine the interrelationships of function and dysfunction at the molecular, cellular, tissue, organ, and systemic levels.
