OWENSBORO, Ky. (May 20, 2026) — Brescia University has announced a new partnership agreement with Oakland City University (OCU) to support undergraduate students affected by OCU’s suspension of undergraduate programs for the 2026–27 academic year.
Through this agreement, Brescia University will welcome all OCU transfer students, accept all successfully completed academic credits, and provide dedicated financial aid to help make degree completion as affordable as possible.
As fellow NAIA conference members, Brescia also offers student-athletes the opportunity to continue competing in the sports they love while finishing their degrees.
“We are here to support OCU students during this transition and provide a clear, affordable pathway to completing their education,” said Melanie Brooks, Vice President of Advancement.
The agreement is effective May 20, 2026. Students interested in transferring can contact Brescia University at [email protected] or 270-686-4241 for more information. Information sessions will be scheduled soon.
