Brescia University Announces 2022 Homecoming Festivities First Brescia Block Party to be held

On Friday, October 21st, Brescia University will kick off their 2022 Alumni Homecoming and Family Weekend with their first ever Brescia Block Party. During the week the University will host several events to welcome back alumni to celebrate alongside students, their families, and faculty and staff. Events held throughout the week are free and open to the public unless an advance ticket is required.

During the Brescia Block Party attendees will be given the opportunity to meet with faculty and staff members and see the new modernized campus.  American Idol Contestant Dakota Hayden will provide live music while various local food trucks will be available. The Block Party starts at 6 PM in the Brescia University Quad.

Brescia University will open their newest art exhibit during the Brescia Block Party honoring the late David Bartholomy in the Anna Eaton Stout Art Gallery in the C.E Field Center for Professional Studies. This art exhibit will be a tribute to the beloved faculty member with alumni and community members providing submissions of art, writing, and mementos.

Stations will be set up around the campus to allow visitors to see experiments performed by faculty, explore campus, and watch the Brescia Bearcat volleyball team compete against Indiana University East.

Jake Davis, Director of Alumni and Donor Relations said of the event, “We’re so excited to invite our alumni, families, and community to the first-ever Brescia Block Party! This event will kick off a weekend full of fun events for the whole family.
