BUonline Recognized for Award-winning Programs

Brescia University’s BUonline has again been recognized for their award-winning online degree programs, on a state and national level.

badgeBUonline has been awarded the Best Online Bachelor’s of Social Work (BSW): Students Before Profits Award for the 2015-2016 year by Non Profit Colleges Online. This award was created to promote nonprofit colleges and universities offering online degree programs that put students before profits and education before the bottom line.

“We believe that these programs are essential and highly valuable assets, especially for working professionals seeking to move up in their field,” stated Non Profit Colleges Online editor, Brett Gershon.

Online programs were selected from among accredited, nonprofit colleges and universities with objectively lower than average tuition cost. Affordability, accreditation and nonprofit status are the primary criteria, as well as consistent rankings by other top national publications.

Brescia University was the only Kentucky institution to make the national list, ranking 9th out of 20 colleges for affordability.

The award highlights what BUonline seeks to do; empower students who want to learn, to do so in a format that fits their individual needs, in an affordable way.

Brescia University has consistently ranked among the top online programs in the state of Kentucky, with 2015 being no different. Brescia was named a Best Online College in Kentucky for 2015 by Affordable Colleges Online and Most Affordable Online College in Kentucky by Online Colleges.
