Spring 2014 Final Enrollment Numbers

Brescia University LogoBrescia University continues to see record enrollment as spring 2014 numbers are released.

Brescia announces a 10% increase in total headcount compared to spring 2013 final numbers. As of today, Brescia has 946 students enrolled. This includes undergraduate degree-seeking students, graduate students, and students not working toward a degree. These are the final spring numbers as a new module of online classes began this week.

This overall enrollment increase is comprised of a 13% growth in undergraduate degree-seeking students over spring 2013. The total headcount for this population is 872. Spring undergraduate degree-seeking enrollment is actually higher than Fall 2013, when Brescia listed 869 students in this category. While rare, Brescia has experienced this phenomenon twice since Fall 2008.

Brescia is also experiencing a steady retention rate of 87% from fall to spring for our undergraduate students seeking a degree. For our first time full-time student population, our retention rate is 89%, which reflects an 8% increase over this time last year.

“This is a very exciting time to be a part of Brescia University as we get ever closer to our strategic planning goal of 1,000 students,” said Chris Houk, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Executive Director of BUonline. “The possibility of meeting this goal by fall 2014, one year ahead of schedule, is incredible.  Brescia University’s success continues to be the direct result of the support, dedication, and hard work of the entire campus community.”
