The Owensboro/Daviess County area is commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War with a series of events taking place Thursday, February 6 – Saturday, February 8.
Brescia University is hosting Dr. Kimberly A. Miller-Spillman, Associate Professor in the Merchandising, Apparel & Textiles Department, University of Kentucky, on February 6 at 7:30 pm. Her presentation, “Civil War Reenactors: Political Issues Expressed Through Dress” will take place in the Campus Center Study Pavilion (Second Floor).
