2+2 Agreement with OCTC

2+2 AgreementPresidents, faculty and administration from Brescia University and Owensboro Community and Technical College signed an agreement this morning for a seamless 2+2 for the Business Program.

“This is a vital piece of the puzzle for our students,” commented Dr. Klauber, “to be able to earn a business degree and stay in our region opens the door for many students.”

“Collaboration between institutions of higher learning is always beneficial to our students. This new agreement will ensure that those OCTC students who want to transfer to Brescia University will be able to do so as seamlessly as possible,” said Fr. Larry.

“The Brescia-OCTC Seamless 2+2 Business Transfer strengthens the academic partnership that we have enjoyed for years. Future business professionals can follow a step-by-step process and complete their AAS in Business Administration and Associate in Arts degrees at OCTC and then complete their BS in Business at Brescia, all in 128 credit hours. Students are encouraged to achieve their goal of a bachelors degree from the first day they begin their college coursework. I’m grateful to Dr. Sanderson at Brescia’s Thompson School of Business for his leadership in making this a reality” said OCTC Business Program Coordinator, Michael Boyd.

“It has been a pleasure to work with OCTC, especially Michael Boyd, to build a partnership for the benefit of students who wish to pursue a career in business,” said Brescia School of Business Chair and Assistant Professor of Economics & Finance, Rohnn Sanderson.
