Tips by the FBI on Computer Security

Brescia University hosts Adam Keown, an FBI Special Agent based out of Louisville, Kentucky, with expertise in cyber security.

Now that you can access most anything on the Internet, this also means you can open yourself up to cyber bullying, identity theft, and so much more. Special Agent Keown will speak to the general public on Monday, November 7 at 7 pm about practical ways that people at home and work can protect their computers and their personal information. He will also discuss social networking sites and teach you how to protect your account from hackers and predators.

The public is invited to this free presentation by Special Agent Keown which will be held in the Taylor Lecture Hall (Science Bldg.).
