Internationally Published Author on Campus

Brescia alum and published authorThe public is invited to attend Coffeehouse with Joey Goebel and student writers on Tuesday, November 1, at 7 pm in the Campus Center Study Pavilion. There will be an open mic session after Goebel reads some of his work.

Goebel is a three-time, internationally published author. His novels have been translated into 13 languages. He has sold more than 100,000 copies overseas and has won several international awards including the Euro Festival Prize and Jury of Young Readers Prize. He is currently working on his fourth novel.

Goebel received his bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis in professional writing in 2002 from Brescia University. He earned his master of fine arts in creative writing from Spalding University in 2006.
