Brescia University reports the seventh consecutive year of undergraduate degree seeking enrollment growth.
Undergraduate degree seeking headcount reaches 858 students with recruitment still ongoing for the start of module 2, which begins in October. This represents a 7% increase over the final fall 2012 numbers. At 858 students, enrollment is currently at Brescia’s highest level since fall 1974, when enrollment reached 878.
The freshman class is expected to be similar in size to fall 2012, which was Brescia’s highest level since 1979.
“After seven consecutive years of enrollment growth, Brescia is no longer the best keep secret in Western KY,” said Chris Houk, Vice President for Enrollment Management. “This growth is directly attributable to the hard work and dedication of our entire community who model the Brescia Difference in their daily service. I am excited with this continued success and look forward to completing the strategic planning goal of 1,000 undergraduate degree seeking students before the fall 2015 semester.”

Resident numbers are up necessitating a move into several properties adjacent to campus, including Brescia’s new Honors House.
Students are enrolled from 42 separate states and the District of Columbia, as well as six foreign countries. There are 149 students enrolled at Brescia University from Daviess County, Kentucky.
