Professor Selected for Prestigious Theology Cohort

Professor of TheologyBrescia University theology professor, Marc Pugliese, Ph.D., was recently accepted as one of 18 participants in Cohort III of the Luce Foundation Summer Seminar on Comparative Theology through the American Academy of Religion (AAR). This prestigious fellowship will meet three times over the course of a year, twice for week-long seminars.

AAR’s website says the seminars are designed to “provide training to theological education faculty who are often preparing students for future religious leadership and ministry.”

“I am confident the Luce Summer Seminar will equip me with the knowledge and skills to engage religious pluralism as an opportunity,” said Dr. Pugliese, “and I am committed to sharing this knowledge and these skills with Brescia University and the Owensboro community.”
