Courses in Brescia’s Honors College include out-of-the-classroom field trips. These trips are designed to give students the opportunity to visit real-world sites and attractions related to the material they study in the classroom. Honors students have visited cities such as Louisville, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Chicago, Nashville, and Knoxville. On these trips, students have seen sites and attractions such as Thomas Merton’s home at the Abbey of Gethsemane, the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Parthenon, and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Below you can view a collection of photos from some of these trips.
