As part of Founder’s Week each year, there is a tradition of recognizing one male and one female student who possesses in remarkable ways the spirit of Saint Angela Merici. Angela Merici was responsible for founding the Ursuline Sisters, who ultimately founded Brescia University. She is often noted for her hospitality, her healthy sense of self in her relationship with God and others, her contemplative spirit while being involved in the world, and her ability to be a reconciler and peacemaker.
During this Fireside Chat, Fr. Larry Hostetter speaks with Amber Payne and Talon Hutton, this year’s recipients of the Spirit of St. Angela Merici Award
