Career Services

The Career Services Office at Brescia University, as part of the Student Development team, is dedicated to providing students with resources and opportunities to enhance their career exploration and development through self-evaluation, networking, mentoring and decision-making.  Specific efforts providing continuous and individualized support to students with undecided majors and maximizing student internship and practical experiences in order to prepare each student to be successful following graduation in their careers

 We have two main goals!

  1. To collaborate with colleagues, administrators, faculty, alumni, agencies, employers both inside and outside of the Owensboro community on projects that increase career awareness and enhance career opportunities for our students through coaching and mentoring.
  2. To educate students and Brescia alum about the career development, planning, and implementation process (to include job search skills and techniques) and to connect them directly to internship and employment opportunities.

  • Graduate School Fair will be taking place on October 12, 2017 in the Moore Center. Please stop by to learn more about graduate programs that might be a great fit for you!
  • A series of Financial Literacy Workshops provided by Fifth Third Bank will be taking place over the course of the semester from 11am-12:15pm in the Student Programming Space on the Second Floor of the Moore Center. Please see below for the dates and discussion topics:
    • September 21st: Financial Check Up 101
    • October 19th: Savings and Budgeting
    • November 2nd: Building Credit
    • November 16th: Protecting Against ID Theft
