Tickets for Annual Empty Bowls Event Now on Sale to the Public

Tickets are now on sale for the annual Empty Bowls of Owensboro, Kentucky fundraiser. This year’s event will take place Thursday, April 26th at 6 pm in the Saints Joseph and Paul Catholic Church Parish Hall, located at 514 East 4th Street.  This local event is part of a national movement to raise funds for those in need of food.

Tickets are $15 and allow participants entrance to the event, as well as the opportunity to select a ceramic bowl to keep and take home. Hundreds of handcrafted bowls made especially for this event by local artisans and students of Brescia University are available to choose from. Each participant will then use their selected bowl to receive one of four soups made available by local chefs and churches. Available this year will be one vegan soup and three non-vegan.

T-shirts and silent auction items will be also be available at the event, including themed baskets and products from local organizations. The silent auction will run from 6:00-6:45 pm and you must be present to win. A limited number of tickets will be available for this event which has consecutively sold out prior to the event. If tickets are still available at the time of the event, they will be available for purchase at the door.
