Student Support Services offers free tutoring for its participants. SSS strives to provide one-on-one tutoring sessions, but at times a group of two or three students will be formed when tutor availability is limited.
Tutoring begins the Monday of the first full week of classes each semester and ends on the Friday prior to Exam Week.
Participants meet with their tutor for an hour or two each week.
While English and math tutoring are the most requested, students frequently sign up for tutoring in courses ranging from Spanish to statistics and biology to theology. When a tutoring request is made, the tutor coordinator makes every effort to fill the request.
