Fine Arts

Nationally-known HarpistYou don’t have to leave your love of the fine arts behind when you come to Brescia because we offer performance opportunities ranging from working in campus and local theater productions to performing in Brescia’s Band, Choir, or Hand Bells. Students may also participate in Chapel music for Sunday Liturgies. Scholarships are available for qualified music students.

The student in art may earn any one of the following degrees from the Division of Fine Arts:

  • Bachelor of Arts in Art (with concentration in one or more of the following areas: ceramics, drawing, painting or printmaking)
  • Bachelor of Arts in Art Education (area in art includes Kentucky teacher certification for 9-12 with an optional endorsement for elementary grades)
  • Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design (preparation for careers in advertising design, illustration and computer graphics)

Students may also minor in music.
