Rose Marita O’Bryan, OSU, director of the Contemporary Woman Continuing Education Program, plans and coordinates enrichment programs and workshops offered through this program. She earned her B.A. in English from Brescia University and her M.A. in Theology and Religious Education from Saint John College in Cleveland. She has done postgraduate work at the Weston Jesuit School of Theology in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Sister Rose Marita has taught religion on the elementary and secondary levels and has coordinated the religious education programs for Seven Holy Founders parish and school in St. Louis. She ministered at Sacred Heart Church in Hickman, Kentucky, as pastoral associate. Sister Rose Marita served in internal ministry for her community, the Ursuline Sisters of Mount Saint Joseph, as councilor, director of vocation ministry, and congregational leader. Currently she is serving as the congregation’s director of mission effectiveness. Sister Rose Marita received the distinguished alumna award from Brescia University in 2001.
Frances Brown, associate professor of history, earned B.A. from Malloy College, M.A. & Ph.D. from Cornell University.
Cheryl Clemons, OSU, associate professor of Religious Studies, earned her B.A. from Brescia College, her M.A. from the University of Dayton, and her Ph.D. from Catholic University of America.
