Career & Technical Education (ProQuest)

  • Career and Technical Education is a full-text database that can be used to research virtually any vocational/technical topic, including technology, healthcare, building trades, auto mechanics, sales and retail, accounting, graphic design, photography, and nursing.

CINAHL (EBSCO)

  • CINAHL, the Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature, covers over 2,850 professional journals in nursing, 17 allied health disciplines, and health sciences librarianship, with coverage as far back as 1982. Clase Periodica (First Search)

CLASE indexes documents published in Latin American journals specializing in the social sciences and humanities.

  • PERIODICA covers journals specializing in science and technology.
  • Offers access to more than 300,000 bibliographic citations from documents published in 2,600 scholarly journals published in the Spanish, Portuguese, French and English languages.
  • Contains information from articles, essays, book reviews, monographs, conference proceedings, technical reports, interviews and brief notes published in journals edited in 24 different countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as from publications that focus on Pan-American issues.

Clinical Pharmacology (EBSCO)

  • Clinical Pharmacology contains current, concise and clinically-relevant drug monographs for all U.S. prescription drugs, hard-to-find herbal and nutritional supplements, over-the-counter products and new and investigational drugs. Drugs may be searched by their generic or brand names. Clinical Pharmacology is made up of Drug Monograph and Patient Education Records. Drug Monographs include description, mechanism of action, and pharmacokinetics. Patient Education Records contain such information as what the medication is used for, what their health care professional should know before taking the medication, how the medication should be taken, what they should do if a dose is missed, what other medications can interact, what side effects may be noticed, what to watch for, and where to keep the medication.

  • The database consists of indexing, abstracts, and full text records describing the nature and habitat of familiar animals. Within some of the full text, image links are available for the Windows client . Images are accessed by double-clicking any image graphic.

ECO (OCLC First Search)

MLA Directory of Periodicals (EBSCO)

  • The MLA Directory of Periodicals contains all information available on the journals and series on the bibliography's Master List of Periodicals. Over 7,100 titles are included; of these, over 4,400 are currently indexed. The entries list editorial addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers, e-mail addresses, frequency of publication, descriptions of the periodicals' scopes, circulation figures, subscription prices and addresses, advertising information, and submission guidelines.

  • America's Newspapers from NewsBank provides full-text articles from the electronic editions of record for more than 500 U.S. newspapers. Each newspaper or wire service provides unique coverage of local and regional news, including specific information about local companies, politics, sports, industries, cultural activities, and the people in the community. Paid advertisements are excluded.

Newspaper Source (EBSCO)
