Bearcats finish 7th at Screaming Eagle Classic -- The Brescia University Women’s Golf team returned from the ‘Screaming Eagle Classic’ at the University of Southern Indiana with a 7th place finish from a field of twelve. Gabrielle Murphy was the best placed individual finisher for the Lady Bearcats in 13th place overall with rounds of 83 and 79 for a total of 162. The team total of 712 was a 43 shot improvement on the same event last year. The Team will finish its fall season next week at the Campbellsville University tournament.

Brescia fourth at Georgetown -- Gabrielle Murphy fired an 82 and made the All-Tournament team to lead the Lady Bearcats to a fourth-place finish out of seven teams at the Georgetown Invitational.

Kelsi Fireline (88), Stacy Curl (90) and Kendal Wethington (94) were Brescia's other scorers at Cherry Blossom Golf Course.
