Andrew Howard was dead accurate on Monday night when he went 11-13 from the field scoring 32 points versus Lindsey Wilson College.

Five Bearcats Score Double Figures in Conference Opener (Men's Basketball)

Anthony Ingram scored 25 points and collected 12 rebounds to push Brescia past Berea College 99-87 on Saturday at the Campus Center.

Mona Blauen Ranked Fifth in East (Women's Tennis)

Brescia University women's tennis player Mona Blauen is currently the fifth-ranked singles player in the east and 37th nationally in the Campbell's/Intercollegiate Tennis Association NAIA rankings released last week.

Brescia Forward, Overton, Named NAIA Academic All American (Women's Soccer)

Brescia University Senior Forward, Katie Overton, has been named to the 2009 NAIA Academic All American team for her outstanding work in the classroom. Overton, from Henderson, Kentucky, was named Academic All American by maintaining a grade point average of 3.5 or better through her senior year.

Bird Named KIAC Player of the Week (Women's Basketball)

Brittany Bird was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for November 30th-December 6th.

Lady Bearcats Win First Conference Game (Women's Basketball)

Brescia's Lady Bearcats defeated Cincinnati Christian University in their first conference contest on Tuesday night. Brittany Bird led BU with 23 points and 5 assists.

Clarissa Houston was named Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for November 16th-November 22nd.

Brescia Splits in Owensboro Classic (Men's Basketball)

Brescia 100, Lambuth 90, OT -- Andrew Howard scored 32 points as the Bearcats rebounded from a disappointing loss Friday to top Lambuth in a wild overtime contest to start the night.

Bearcats Win Emory and Henry Classic (Women's Basketball)

Clarissa Houston and Brittany Bird each scored 14 points to lead Brescia University to an 86-55 win over Sewanee to win the Emory and Henry Classic.

Brescia Defeated by Freed-Hardeman, 111-60 (Men's Basketball)

Freed-Hardeman bolted to a 29-point halftime lead and went on to defeat Brescia 111-60 in a men's college basketball game Tuesday night in Henderson, Tenn.

Women's Soccer Loses in Conference Final

The women's soccer team concluded their season when losing in the KIAC conference championship game. Brescia took home many awards from the season.

Lady Bearcats Win Home Opener Over Mid-Continent University (Women's Basketball)

The Lady Bearcats came out of the gate very strong with Clarissa Houston hitting two three pointers to give the Lady Bearcats a 6-0 lead. MCU battled back with two scores of their own to bring the game to 6-4.

Brescia Men Fall Short in Season Opener

The Brescia University men's basketball team hosted University of Northwestern Ohio on Tuesday night in the Campus Center. The Bearcats came up just short in a 61-58 loss.

Bearcats Finish Second Place (Women's Tennis)

The Brescia University women's tennis team finished second place to IU Southeast in the KIAC Conference Tournament losing 5-3. Brescia finished the season 14-4, which was 11 more wins than a season ago.

Lady Bearcats Win Season Opener Over Harris-Stowe (Women's Basketball)

The Lady Bearcats got down 3-2 in the first minute of the game, only to play well over the next 10 minutes to be up by seven points. Harris-Stowe pushed back to cut the lead to two points 32-30 at the half.

The Brescia University women's tennis team finished the regular season with an 8-1 victory over Midway College.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (October 21st, 2009) - The 2009-10 Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Preseason Basketball Polls were released Wednesday. All coaches participated in the polling on the regular season finish of the teams. The coaches could not vote for their own team, leading to 49 points and seven first place votes being the most possible.
