Aug. 15 Jan. 5 Payment due to hold position in classes. Failure to make this payment will result in cancellation of pre-registration and the student will need to register again.  See payment plans below.

Aug. 17 Jan. 29 Opening Academic Convocation/Founder’s Day
Aug. 17-20 New Freshman Orientation
Aug. 19 Registration from 1-3 pm with payment for students not registered.
Aug. 21 Jan. 13 First day of regular classes.
Aug. 21-27 Jan. 13-17 BUonline Mod #1 / #3 Begin
Jan. 20 MLK Holiday. No Classes.
Aug. 29 Jan. 21 Last day to add/drop a regular class
Aug. 30 Jan. 22 A “W” will be entered on the transcript.
Jan. 28 Founder’s Day/Winter Convocation
Sept. 2 Labor Day.  Campus closed.
Feb. 1 Final date for Application for Diploma to graduate in 2014.
Oct. 5 Feb. 24 Incomplete grades due for past semester.
Oct. 8 March 3 Midterm Warning Slips issued.
Oct. 11 March 7 Last day for withdrawing with a “W” on transcript for semester classes.
Oct. 16-22 March 17-21 BUonline Mod #2 / #4 Begin
Oct. 17-21 March 10-14 Semester Break. No classes.
Nov. 1 March 1 Final payment due for students on the deferred payment plan. Late fees will be incurred for payments made after this date.
Apr. 1 Kentucky State Grant deadline for FAF.  Kentucky Teachers Scholarship deadline.
Nov. 12-16 April 8-12 Preregistration for returning students during office hours.
Nov. 27-29 April 17-21 Thanksgiving Break/Easter Break. No classes.
April 27 Honors Convocation
Dec. 9-12 May 5-8 Final exams. Semester exams taken on other than scheduled date – $10.00. Intrasemestral tests taken on other than scheduled date – $5.00.
May 9 Baccalaureate and Bestowal of Tassels/Master’s Hoods
May 10 Commencement
Jan. 15 June 15 Final payment due for employer tuition reimbursement.

The University reserves the right to cancel any class for which there is not sufficient registration.

Admission to class for those who pay special tuition or audit is on a “space available” basis.

Fees are subject to change without notification. If withdrawal is not made officially, the student will receive an “F” for the course taken and will be charged in full.
