Friendship Conference

Brescia University’s Theology Department is hosting a spring colloquium on the Mystery of Friendship. It is an evening involving a multi-faith, multi-disciplinary group of people exploring friendship, and includes recently shot YouTube videos, an international film, performances and special readings all involving friendship.  You will question your views on friendship and leave understanding new perspectives.

The event takes place on Thursday, March 21 from 6 – 9 pm in Taylor Lecture Hall, which is located in the Science Building. Tickets are $7 each at the door or admission is free if you bring a friend.

There are more than a dozen speakers for the event, including an Imam, a former Benedictine Monk, a retired U.S. Foreign Service Officer, a Minister, several professors from various local higher education institutions, a police officer and more. English filmmaker and Brescia student, Connor Minogue, has directed and produced a film, “Friendship the Movie.”

The Crème Coffee House has co-sponsored this colloquium and those who receive a ticket at the door will find a $1 off coupon on the back for a specialty coffee drink valid following the event.
