2014 Orientation Leaders

New Student Orientation is SUCH an important part of the Brescia student experience, so we recruit the BEST student leaders to assist New Students with their transition to college. We call them Orientation Leaders, or OLs for short, and we think they’re pretty awesome! Each of our fantastic OLs gives up more than a week of their summer to volunteer for the New Student Orientation program.

What does an Orientation Leader do?

Each OL commits to four days of training and four days of working closely with a small group of our New Students. After a comprehensive training, each OL will be given a group of 10-15 new students to guide through the four day Orientation program. They’ll make sure that our new students have every opportunity to learn about Brescia, college life, and what it takes to be a successful student. Orientation Leaders play the roles of mentor, tour guide, facilitator, entertainer, ice-breaker, and friend. They work for eight jam packed days… but our OLs know that it is totally worth it!
